 Education &Training:

I have a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT #101014).  

Along with experience, I believe continued commitment to learning makes an effective therapist.  My recent experience and training includes:


  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy 

  • Cognitive Behavioral Theory for OCD.

  • Internal Family System - Level 1 (in progress).

  • International Society for the Study of Dissociation and Trauma (ISSTD)   - Complex trauma and dissociation coursework

  • Post graduate training in the assessment and treatment of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders through Postpartum Support International.

  • Multi year Professional skills  training in Hakomi (mindfulness and somatic based therapy). Includes Trauma to Dharma 3 level training.

  • EMDR (completed both level 1 & 2) as well as an attachment model of EMDR.

  • Provided psychotherapy services to teens at Oak Grove Middle School, Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School.

  • Provided psychotherapy services to Adults and teens at Contra Costa Crisis Center and JFK Community Center
